Connection with Empathy:
The Nunukul Yuggera Aboriginal Dance Performance
To celebrate our third Values Event, “Connection with Empathy,” WorkingMouse had the privilege of experiencing a traditional Aboriginal performance by the Nunukul Yuggera Aboriginal Dance Company. This award-winning group has been sharing Aboriginal culture through song, dance, and storytelling for over 25 years, both nationally and internationally.
The performance included traditional dances, didgeridoo playing, and storytelling. The most memorable part came at the end of the performance, when we were invited to join in a traditional farewell dance. It was a fun and engaging way to participate in the celebration and show our respect for the culture shared with us.
This event was a great opportunity to connect, reflect, and expand our understanding of Aboriginal heritage. Experiences like this highlight the importance of empathy in building connections—one of WorkingMouse’s core values.
We’re grateful to the Nunukul Yuggera Aboriginal Dance Company for giving us this cultural experience. If you’d like to learn more about their work, visit Nunukul Yuggera Aboriginal Dance Company. Check out our social posts and video below to see more of the amazing performance!
