Material procurement and capability
WorkingMouse has been working closely with the Department of Defence to migrate a number of systems to the cloud.
Initially, the scope of the project covered the Department’s non material procurement tracking but has since expanded to cover material procurement and other areas of the capability acquisition and sustainment group (CASG).
Moving to a shared services model meant that there were a number of transition challenges NMP needed to overcome.
One such challenge was the multiple disparate procurement databases and Excel spreadsheets that, due to the transition, were in use across NMP to track and support Defence procurements.
To date, the Defence partnership with WorkingMouse has delivered more than the consolidation of procurement activity.
The Tracker is used across CASG to enable the progression of the Supplier Reporting Capability (SRC), a reporting layer that sits over the top of corporate contract and expenditure data and CASG Commercial Division’s key information products.
