A Transparent Way of Working.
Agile-based and full of learnings
Our Way of Working is a collection of the processes and tactics we use to deliver applications to our clients. We use the WoW to structure the four different phases of software development, ensuring that all our valued clients benefit from consistent and understandable project management.
The Way of Working is constantly adapting to fit changes in the market and new technologies. This gives our clients peace of mind in knowing that their product aligns with both current and future horizons.Read our Way of Working
Start with a Problem
The Brief phase serves as an introduction between a prospective client and the WorkingMouse team. This typically will comprise of an initial phone call to assess the initial fit, followed by a Brief meeting, conducted with an account manager and a member of the product design team. The purpose of this meeting is to identify the overall vision of the project, align on the problem statement, as well as get an early indication of goals and challenges.Read about the Brief phase
Design a meaningful solution
The purpose of Scope is to find and align on a solution to the problem. This means uncovering all the ins-and-outs of the application so that the team can be fully prepped for development.
Product owners join with the development team for 1-2 meetings per week over the course of 2-4 weeks, which include various activities designed to help our team craft the best solution possible. At the conclusion of scope, the team delivers a clickable prototype of the solution with a roadmap and estimates for development.Read about the Scope phase
Develop and deliver value
Now that the goalposts have been set, it’s time for our talented team of developers to start building. In our experience, detailed scopes pave the way for smooth development, and mean that both our clients and the team have very clear expectations about what will be delivered at each milestone.
We work agile, which means that we aim to deliver software incrementally based on what is likely to deliver the most value early on. At each stage, the product owner is in the driver’s seat, working with our squad leads to organise the roadmap.Read about the Development phase
Operationalise and save the day
Many software development houses simply handover the finished product when it is completed. At WorkingMouse, we believe in remaining accountable for a product even after it is released.
There is also a strong focus on measuring the performance of the application against the objectives that were set during the Brief stage. Our support teams triage any bugs or requested features, maintaining and adding value to software.Read about project support
